When: Saturday, 28th March, 10:30am – 5pm (incl. 30 min tea break with homemade cake)

Who is this workshop for?

This is a beginners workshop for anyone who is interested in learning how to use a sewing machine and is looking for some basic sewing tips on the way. You will go home with more confidence and a finished project you made yourself.

Maybe you’ve always had an interest in sewing or knew the basics a long time ago and would like a ‘refresher’. Or maybe you have got a sewing machine which you’d like to finally learn to use.

I’m a patient, friendly and skilled dressmaker / designer who will teach you the basics of this enjoyable and useful craft.

I’ll keep the classes small – no more than three participants – so there will be enough time and attention available.

What skills will I learn on the workshop?

  • setting up your sewing machine correctly and how to use it.
  • problem solving
  • useful and essential tips for beginners

Will I actually make anything during the workshop?

Yes! We will make a simple tote bag during the workshop.

What do I need to bring to the course? Do I need to buy materials?

All you need to bring is your own sewing machine or you can use one of mine.

You do not need to buy any materials. I provide all the materials, thread and tools needed to make the bag, inclusive within the course fee.

If you’re interested in attending one of my courses or have any query at all, please feel free to contact me.
