Tell a story from your childhood about an item of clothes that played a role in your life and then create a picture on paper about that piece of clothes in form of a painting/drawing/collage with your choice of material.
It can be about a favourite garment, an item of clothes you had to wear but didn’t like, a dream of a dress you never had, an outfit you wore when something important happened…
Dig deep and if you can’t find a memory invent one for yourself.
Turn your spoken words into something visual: write, paint, draw, cut, glue, sew.
For this workshop no skills are needed just your motivation and curiosity to try something out. Open your mind, get inspired! This is all about the process, being engaged and having fun. All material provided. You can bring photos if you like.
“I am not what I am, I am what I do with my hands…”
